Every year, Marketeer magazine makes a list of all the notable brands and professionals in Portugal and recognizes their importance by awarding them a prize. In total, 34 cover prominent areas such as Art and Culture, Fashion and Accessories, Telecommunications, or Education, and the nominees’ list is a crossing of the evaluation that both the newsroom and the magazine’s editorial board did.
This year, and given the current situation, the voting period was extended until May 31. This 12th edition Prémios Marketeer was awarded yesterday, July 16, at O Clube – Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisboa.
Every year, and once again, Nova SBE was nominated in the Universities and Education Institutions category besides business schools such as Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Católica Porto Business School, ISEG – Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão da Universidade de Lisboa, and ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, having been distinguished by the well-known publication as the big winner.
For 40 years, Nova SBE has become a top brand in higher education. This success is explained by our focus on a rigorous and demanding approach to teaching and research, by our efforts to become more and more international, and by our naturally bold and vanguardist culture. We proudly receive this honor, which elects it as the most prominent higher institution, and determinedly will keep fostering our open, inclusive, and innovative spirit that we hope it will always take us one step further: towards the horizon.
Upon receiving this award, Pedro Brito, Associate Dean for Executive Education & Business Transformation at Nova SBE stated:
"I believe that this recognition is only possible when organizations are consistent in living their values and vision. I think that Nova SBE has done just that, both from an educational perspective and service to the community. In an educational dimension, the constant rising on international rankings for master's degrees and executive education is a sign of that. In the dimension of service to the community, I would highlight, with some pride, the role to play initiative that sought to respond to the pandemic context through the dissemination of useful knowledge for the current context and projects impact, involving almost a hundred students in supporting national SMEs".
