Nova School of Business & Economics is the new academic partner of the Estoril Conferences and Afonso Reis, a former student, and professor at Nova SBE is one of the speakers who will mark the 1st day at the Youth Summit.

Nova School of Business and Economics has become an academic partner of the Estoril Conferences, the most prestigious international reflection forum on the globalization challenges, joining leading universities such as the University of Aahrus (Denmark), Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Netherlands), Georgetown University (USA) and Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil).

The fourth edition of the Estoril Conferences will take place between May 19th and 22nd at the Estoril Congress Center, and will feature international speakers who will provide unique moments of debate, namely Garry Kasparov, the former Greek Prime Minister Georgios Papandreou, the former secretary NATO general Anders Rassmussen, the former Timorese president and Nobel Peace Prize winner José Ramos-Horta, and the former president of the European Commission José Manuel Durão Barroso.

The first day, May 19th will be entirely dedicated to youth and will be attended by José Ramos-Horta, winner of the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize. As an academic partner of the Conferences, Nova SBE will be represented at the Youth Summit by several students, and also by the former student and professor Afonso Reis - responsible for the Managing Impactful Projects subject - who will be one of the speakers.
