Every week, a Professor from Nova SBE Executive Education presents the Lições do Lago dos Tubarões [Lessons of Lago dos Tubarões], a rubric of Nova SBE with Expresso Online that analyzes cases from the Shark Tank Portugal program, drawing the main lessons.
In the first episode, we had Professor Miguel Muñoz Duarte who explained that the first lesson we can learn from the pilot episode is the ability to identify an opportunity or solution to a problem and act, following the example of Sock Busters, founded by two young people who were tired of losing socks during domestic chores.
From the same episode, we can also understand, according to Miguel Muñoz Duarte, the importance of presenting an adequate proposal to the investor's objectives and the need for the business and the entrepreneur to be prepared to receive the investment.
