In a program choosing process, an important phase is to listen to who contributes daily to make it possible. In the case of the Applied Projects Management intensive program that person is Professor José Crespo de Carvalho, Scientific Coordinator of the program and winner of two career awards for his career path in logistics.

We invite you to read the three questions we asked José Crespo de Carvalho about the intensive program in Applied Projects Management.
1. Why the Applied Projects Management program?
It is imposed on our offer, but it is imposed because we want to do it in practice. Learning by doing. Even by the very notion of a project – that happens in a practical context at a certain time with a start and finish. Thus, it will be addressed to a project, a business case will be built/made, an organization and stakeholders will be addressed, timeless, budget and associated risks will be the target/subject of practical work. In a mix between the conceptual and the applicational.
2. Why doing GAP now?
The program was designed for boards, managers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and architects, however, in reality, it is for all those that, with or without previous knowledge, want to get an integrated and hands-on view of project management.
Because there is so much buzzword in the air and so many misunderstood subjects. Many speak of innovation and don’t materialize it. Many speak of digital and don’t make it tangible. Many speak of events and incidents and don’t put them into a business case form. Nor do they structure them in a way that companies understand - time, expense, quality, and scope. Nothing better than the Projects Management to do it. Now because it is also necessary to settle some dust.
3. Which are the GAP benefits?
Maybe coming to the course and understanding it. There aren’t exactly secrets because there are no secrets in the world. Even fewer secrets that are the soul of the business. There is, however/yes, to know and to know how to do it. That is what moves us, that is what gives us work, that generates wealth. Therefore, I say that the best way to understand the benefits is not by writing them. They will say: pay to see? Certainly yes, or at least that too. But I’m sure they will find that the time was well used, and the return of the investment will surely be achieved. No, it isn’t another expense. Yes, it is an investment. If that was what you were asking me! And if you ask me if you/they should come what other answers can I give: come and you’ll see that I’m speaking the truth.
